ABOUT Row Papaya Halava RECIPE

Its a task to make my lil one eat some fruits. There are very few fruits that he would eat it raw, else I have to transform them into more yummier things to let it go in. Papaya is one such fruit. The way he would call out papaya and throw tantrums if we don't get it, while in a grocery store, you would think he is gonna hog on it all by himself. But no, that's not the fact. He loves Papaya Halwa,.It is very delious and healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 bowl grated papaya
  2. 1 bowl suger
  3. 1 bowl milk
  4. 10 cashews and almonds
  5. Few Saffron threads
  6. 1 Tbsp cardemom powder

Instructions

  1. Row Papaya
  2. Firstly remove the skin and seeds of papaya and grate it.
  3. Grated
  4. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan, add broken cashew nuts, fry till golden brown and keep aside. .
  5. In the remaining ghee, add grated papaya and sauté for 4-5 minutes
  6. on medium low heat. Add milk, stir and cook on medium heat till the moisture almost dries up. (When milk starts to boil, it will look as if its curdling.

  8. Add in sugar and mix well.
  9. Add saffron, cardamom powder, few cashew nuts. Mix well.
  10. Garnish it with almonds .
  11. Now the yummy halava is ready.
