ABOUT Tawa Pulao RECIPE

Quick and easy to make, this is a super yummy street food that can be made at home.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup cooked basmati rice
  2. Boiled mixed vegetable 1 cup (potato, carrot, beans, peas,cauliflower,capsicum)
  3. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. 1 tbsp schezwan chutney
  5. 2 onion chopped
  6. 1 tomato chopped
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  10. Pav bhaji masala 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cook basmati rice around 8 hours prior to making the pulao.
  2. In a pan heat oil and add the ginger garlic paste. Sauté well. Add onions and cook till soft. Add schezwan chutney and mix well. Add tomatoes and cook till mushy.
  3. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Add salt and pav bhaji masala. Roast well.
  4. Add the boiled mixed vegetables and mix well. Cook for sometime.
  5. Add the cooked rice and mix gently.
  6. Serve hot.
