Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup basmati rice
  2. 1 onion chopped
  3. 1/2 cup peas
  4. 1 carrot chopped
  5. 1 bay leaf
  6. 1 cinamon
  7. 2 cloves
  8. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  9. 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tsp chilly powder
  11. 2 tsp oil
  12. 1 tsp ghee
  13. Water as required
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash rice.
  2. Eat ghee and oil together in a pressure cooker on low flame 8 bayleaf ,cinnamon , clove and saute for 30 seconds, add onions and saute it.
  3. Add green peas and carrot.
  4. Add soaked rice, garam masala powder, turmeric powde,r red chilli powder and salt.
  5. Add 1 cup water and mix well.
  6. Close the lid and cook over medium frame for 2 whistle.
