ABOUT Koki RECIPE

Koki is a kind of bread, Sindhi bread, made from whole wheat flour and some spices that's y it's very healthy breakfast n papoular sindhi dish to begin the day it contain all the healthy, things from wheat flour,and best to serve with milk n yogurt.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup Whole wheat flour
  2. 2 Green chiles finally chopped
  3. 1 tbs Fresh coriander leaves finally chopped
  4. 1 no onion finally chopped
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/2 tbs jeera
  7. Water to knead the dough

Instructions

  1. Take flour in a bowl. Add onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, salt,cummin seeds and sufficient water and knead into a semi-stiff dough. Add 1 tablespoon oil and knead well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Step 2 Divide the dough into equal portions. Dust the worktop with some flour and roll out each portion into ½ cm thick sheet. Cut into squares ,or roll it round
  3. Heat a non-stick tawa. Roast the rolled round bread turning sides and basting with some oil, till they are evenly golden on both sides. These are koki. Step 4 Place kokis in pairs one on top of other, on a serving platter, put hung yogurt quenelles on top .
  4. Step 5 , serve with milk, tea, or plain or tadka dahi
