Can you imagine a no sugar besan ladoo? Well, you have got to try out this easy recipe to find out how yummy these ladoos can be without the addition of refined sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup thick gram flour
  2. 1 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
  3. 1 cup-water
  4. 10-15 dates (khajur)
  5. 1 tbsp- flaxseed powder (roasted)
  6. 10-15 slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Boil dates and almonds in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Deseed dates and remove the almond skin.
  3. Take another pan. Add ghee for roasting besan on low flame.
  4. Add flax seed powder when besan is roasted.
  5. Add the dates-almond mixture to roasted besan.
  6. Mix everything together. Keep the flame on low until everything comes together as a ball.
  7. Make ladoo shapes and enjoy a guilt-free treat.
