ABOUT WHOLEWHEAT JAGGERY DOSA RECIPE

A traditional recipe I learnt from my mother.A good dish for our sweet tooth that can be repared instantly too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
  2. Jaggery - 1 cup
  3. Water as required.
  4. Oil - as required

Instructions

  1. Heat a vessel and add jaggery to it.
  2. Jaggery is dissolved.Switch off gas.
  3. Sieve the impurites from jaggery syrup.
  4. Prepare a lump free batter of jaggery syrup and wholewheat flour by adding little water.
  5. Batter ready.
  6. Heat girdle.Spread the batter.Apply oil on sides.
  7. Cook both sides.
  8. Wholewheat jaggery dosa is ready.It tastes good with little butter.You can have it without butter too.
