ABOUT Rasogulla RECIPE

Rasogulla is a famous sweet dish of west bengal and odisha

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 cups full fat whole milk or 1 litre milk
  2. 2 to 3 tbsp lemon juice, add as required
  3. For syrup: 2 cups sugar
  4. 4 cups water or 1 litre
  5. 1 tsp all purpose flour
  6. ½ tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. make chhena by putting few drop of lemon juice in the boiled milk.
  2. strain all the water and add some all purpose flour and cardamom powder with the chena and make a smooth dough
  3. from the dough , just make rosgulla as round shape with ur hand
  4. sugar syrup : add sugar and water. Boil the syrup in a cooker after the syrup is ready
  5. put all the rosgullsa in that and wait for 1 whistle and wait for 5/6 mins and let it cool.
  6. Then open the cooker, u ll get the Rosgolla in double size of the original one , which u put in the cooker earlier :)
