ABOUT Masala Crumbled Tofu on Toast RECIPE

Tofu is a good source of protein and contains all eight essential amino acids. It is also an excellent source of iron and calcium. It’s an excellent ingredient to increase your daily dose of nutrition. Have it in sandwiches, curries or on toast, it tastes fabulous!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 gm fresh tofu
  2. 100 gm finely chopped mixed veggies like cabbage,capsicum,French beans,onion.
  3. handful of freshly chopped coriander leaves
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 Tb fresh pepper powder
  6. A pinch of turmeric powder
  7. 1 ts red chilli powder
  8. 1 ts dry mango powder
  9. 1 Tb oil
  10. Juice of one lemon


  1. Crumble tofu finely and place them in a bowl aside
  2. Heat a Tb oil in a non stick pan and sauté the veggies for 5-7 minutes on medium-Low heat
  3. Season with salt,pepper and dry spices and mix well
  4. Add the crumbled tofu and mix well and sauté on Low heat
  5. Finish by adding coriander leaves and lemon juice
  6. Mix and take off heat
  7. Serve warm in toast/sandwiches/roles
