ABOUT Bathua ( Cheel Bhaji) Puri RECIPE

Its a very healthy puri. Its fried but has the richness of bathua which otherwise many persons didn't like. Its yummy and mostly savoured in winters.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bathua....250 gm ( leaves removed from stem)
  2. Salt...1/2 tsp
  3. Wheat flour....1 cup
  4. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash leaves thoroughly. Take a pan. Put leaves in it. Fill with water. Boil for 5 minutes. Drain it.
  2. Make paste of it in mixer.
  3. Make dough by adding flour, bathua paste and salt. If required add water. Dough should be hard.
  4. Take a kadhai. Put oil in it. Make small Puris. Fry them in oil on low medium flame.
  5. Tasty puris are ready to relish.
