Burger using Rajma, Spinach, Cauliflower , Sweet Corn, Spring onions, and Rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rajma cooked 1/2 cup.
  2. Spinach chopped 1 cup.
  3. Sweet corn grated 1 big.
  4. Cauliflower grated 1 cup.
  5. Spring Onions. Chopped 1 cup.
  6. Rice cooked 1 cup.
  7. gram flour 2 tbsp
  8. Ginger grated 1 tbsp
  9. Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  10. Green chilli crushed 2
  11. Coriander powder 1 1/2 tbsp
  12. GARAM MASALA 1 TBSP
  13. Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  14. Oil 4 to 5 tbsp.
  15. Salt to taste.
  16. Sesame seeds roasted 2 tbsp
  17. Coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
  18. Salt to taste.
  19. Corn flour 2 to 3 tbsp for slurry.
  20. Oil for shallow frying.
  21. Sesame burger buns 8
  22. Butter 1 packet ( 100 grms).
  23. Purple cabbage leaves of half cabbage
  24. Onions 2
  25. Tomatoes 3
  26. Carrot grated 1 big ( 200 grms)
  27. Capsicum 2
  28. Salt and pepper to taste.
  29. Dr. Otekar's Salsa dip with Olive oil.( According to requirement)
  30. Dr. Otekar's. Mayonnaise. 1 bottle.
  31. Cheese slices 1 per burger

Instructions

  1. Coarse grind cooked Rajma. Keep aside.
  2. Steam grated corn. Keep aside to cool.
  3. Heat a pan. Add 1/2 tsp oil. Saute Spinach for 2 minutes on high flame by adding little salt. Keep aside.
  4. In the same pan take 1/2 tsp oil and saute Spring onions. Add little salt. Keep aside.
  5. Same way saute Cauliflower by adding little salt and keep aside.
  6. Take everything including Rice in a big plate.
  7. Add Garlic, Ginger, Coriander powder, Green chilli, Garam masala, Red chili powder.
  8. Add Sesame seeds and chopped Coriander leaves . Add salt.
  9. Mix everything , check and adjust the taste.
  10. Add Gram flour. Add 3 tbsp oil and make a dough.
  11. Form patties .
  12. Keep in a refrigerator to cool to maintainin the shape while frying.
  13. Make thin corn flour slurry.
  14. Heat a non-stick pan for shallow frying.
  15. Fry the patties by dipping in cornflour slurry.
  16. And your burger patties are ready .
  17. Till your patties are being fried, make preparations for serving.
  18. Chop the Capsicums on two. Switch on gas and roast them on stove top.
  19. Peel a little by scrubbing with fingers and chop fine.
  20. Chop onion rounds. Chop Tomatoes in circles. Spread a pinch of salt and pepper.
  21. Take out Mayonnaise and Salsa from bottles for spreading.
  22. Toast your burger buns in butter by cutting horizontally.
  23. Take one half of a bun. Apply mayonnaise. Arrange a purple cabbage leaf on it.
  24. Arrange Onion, Tomato, Chopped Capsicum, Burger Pattie, grated carrots according to your comfort level.
  25. Spread Salsa on it. Spread a Cheese slice and cover with another halt of burger. Tuck in a tooth pick
  26. Serve immediately with a garnish of veges and French fries.
