ABOUT Fluffy Buttery Omelette.. RECIPE

A healthy breakfast or a brunch idea that is loved by many across the globe. It can be pretty much served at anytime as a side dish with many an important meals like khichdi, daal fry, vegetable gravy or even rotis and phulkas. Veggies like capsicum and spring onion greens can also be added to it for making it even more healthier.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Eggs 4
  2. Salt 1 tsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  4. Green chillies finely chopped 2-3
  5. Onions finely chopped 2
  6. Coriander leaves finely chopped 1/4th cup
  7. Mint leaves finely chopped 1/4th cup
  8. Butter 2 tbsp
  9. Oil 1 tsp
  10. Milk 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs in a bowl with all the other ingredients including a tablespoon of milk except butter.
  2. Heat pan and add butter plus oil.
  3. Add the egg mix in it.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat on one side for 3-4 minutes.
  5. After 4 minutes, flip it over and cook it for about the same time.
  6. Cover while cooking it and it should be done on a low to medium heat only.
  7. Lovely looking light yellow coloured and fluffy omelette is ready to be served hot.
  8. Divide the mix and make two or make a single large omelette in a big pan.
