Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Yellow moong dal - 1/4 cup
  2. Finely chopped tomato - 1/2 cup
  3. Finely chopped onion - 1/4 cup
  4. Finely chopped ginger - 1 tsp
  5. Finely chopped green chilly - 1
  6. Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  7. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Fresh cream - 1 tbsp


  1. Wash moong dal and soak for two hours.
  2. Heat butter in a pan.
  3. Add onion ginger and green chilly and saute for one to two mins.
  4. Add yellow moong dal,salt and four cup of water
  5. Cook for ten mins in a medium flame.
  6. Now add tomato, black pepper powder and coriander leaves and cook for two mins
  7. Once cooled add in the blender and make a smooth paste.
  8. Garnish with fresh crean and serve hot.
