ABOUT Potato Nest Burger RECIPE

Burger in a Traditional English Mustard Sauce which has a piquant taste,best blend of medium pungency taste, the oldest spice known to man, Greeks and Romans used it.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Potatoes 3 medium sized boiled and grated
  2. Onion 1 chopped and 3 rings to decorate/place in each burger
  3. Coriander leaves chopped 2-3tablespoon
  4. Tomato 3 rings to decorate/place in each burger
  5. Pav-Bhaji Masala Powder 1teaspoon
  6. Kitchen King Powder 1teaspoon
  7. Masala e Magic 1teaspoon
  8. Garam masala powder 1teaspoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Red Chillie Powder 1teaspoon
  11. Vermicelli for rolling potatoes to make a nest kind of tikki
  12. Oil for shallow frying
  13. English Mustard Sauce 1teaspoon for each burger
  14. Tomato sauce pouches 3
  15. Burger Buns 3

Instructions

  1. Take 3 potatoes in white polythine, give slits in between
  2. Place in microwave at 100 high temperature
  3. Give 3 minutes so that potatoes get soft
  4. When it beeps,take out,peel well, grate it using kadukas,add chopped onions and chopped coriander leaves
  5. Now add these spices one by one
  6. Using these dry spices put 1teaspoon each along with salt and red chillie powder
  7. Mix well using hands mash well
  8. Using vermicilli
  9. Make tikkis and roll in Vermicelli to make a nice nest kind of tikki/cutlet
  10. Put oil in non-stick tawa,heat well
  11. Place tikkis in it
  12. When one side is browned,turn and flip
  13. A nice brown colour will be seen
  14. Take out in a plate, keep aside
  15. Now cut the burger from center, place tikki in each burger, put mustard sauce with a slice of onion ring and tomato ring in it, keep a pouch of tomato sauce also
  16. If you want to serve after a long time gap, then wrap it with cling wrap,this is must, it protects from bacteria which comes very quickly in yeast items
