ABOUT Daal methi RECIPE

A healthy and delicious recipe of daal, made with fenugreek leaves, which is perfect to be served with roti or rice. A simple and soulful meal.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Moong daal 1 cup
  2. Fenugreek leaves 1/2 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Ginger chilly paste 1 spoon
  5. Garlic paste 1 spoon
  6. Garam masala powder 1/2 spoon
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 spoon
  8. Red chilli powder 1 spoon
  9. Oil 2 spoon
  10. Asafoetida 1 pinch

Instructions

  1. Boil the daal with fenugreek leaves in a cooker.
  2. Take a pan .add oil.then Asafoetida ,then ginger, chilly,garlic paste.
  3. Then add daal , and all spices.
  4. Stirring for some time so masala dissolved in it.
  5. Serve hot.
