Ingredients to make Soya chaap

  • Soya chaap - 1 cup
  • Hung curd - 1/2 cup
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • Garam masala - 1/4 th tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • onion paste - 1/4 th cup
  • Whole spices [cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom] - just a few
  • Haldi [turmeric powder] - 1/2 tsp
  • green chilly - 2
  • coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Kasoori methi - 1 tbsp

How to make Soya chaap

  1. Take a bow put hung curd, salt, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder mix well
  2. Marinate soya chaap and keep the marination in fridge for one hour
  3. Now take the sticks and pan fry them or cook them in oven
  4. Cut them into pieces
  5. For gravy heat Mustard oil in a deep pan
  6. Put kashmiri lal mirch
  7. Put all whole spices
  8. Put 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  9. Now put onion paste and fry well
  10. Now mix salt, haldi, mirch, dhaniya powder with little water
  11. Now mix roasted soya chaap
  12. For gravy mix leftover marination.. Cook the gravy well and serve with rice and naan
