Idli are type of savoury rice cake, popular breakfast recipe throug out India. To white idli i have given little make over by designing flowers by using carrot, capsicum and mint leaves. It is verh healthy dish can be eaten any time.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Idli Rava
  2. 1/4 cup urad dal
  3. 1/2 carrot
  4. 1/2 capsicum
  5. 3- 4 mint leaves
  6. salt to taste


  1. Soak and grind urad dal into fine paste.
  2. Soak rava in water for 4-5 minutes
  3. Drain water
  4. Now add urad dal batter and mix well
  5. In the Morning add salt
  6. Chop carrot
  7. Chop capsicum
  8. Wash mint leaves
  9. Keep idli stand on stove
  10. Fill idli stand with batter and keep for steaming for 2 mins
  11. After 2 mins remove the lid and arrange carrot ,capsicum and mint leaves for giving desired shape.
  12. Put on stove again for steaming
  13. Steam for 7-8 minutes.
  14. Idlies are ready
  15. Remove and serve with chutney
