ABOUT Lal saag curry RECIPE

Lal saag or red spinach are most healthiest food for vegetarians on launch table. It cotains all vitamins with low calories and high in iron.In my dish i used lentin dal which is again low caories but high in protion.so in one word this recipe is so healthy for all and should never skin this saag on plate during the season of this leafy veg.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Lal saag or red spinach 1 bunch
  2. Moong dal 1/4cup
  3. Moong dal bdi 2 to 4
  4. Crossed garlic 2 tspn
  5. Cooking oil 1 tspn
  6. Lal mirchi 2
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Coriander leaves
  9. Potato 1

Instructions

  1. Wash and chopped the saag and low calories potato.
  2. Roast lentil dal
  3. Boil dal and patato .Add salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Before the dal become properly soft ,add the lala saag.
  5. Fry 2 to 4 moong dal badi and add into the dal.
  6. Boil it for 8 to 10 minutes still it become soft.
  7. Take another pan to stove .Add little oil, jeera, crossed galic and chilly then onion.stir it still golden brown.
  8. Now transfer the prepared saag into this this pan.
  9. Add 2 tablespoon of low fat milk.
  10. Mix properly and switched off the flem and serve hot .
