ABOUT Bharva mushrooms RECIPE

This recipe is good for health and is a perfect side dish to be served with some roti or rice & dal on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mushrooms 250 gm
  2. Paneer 50 gm
  3. Cashew chopped 1 tbsp
  4. Raisins 10-12
  5. Chopped green chilli 2
  6. Onion 2
  7. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  8. Tomatoes 1 chopped
  9. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  10. pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  11. red chilli powder 1tsp
  12. garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  13. Cardamom 2-3
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the mushrooms properly and pat them dry.
  2. Blanch the mushrooms by soaking them in boiling water for 5 minute then drain in cold water and remove the stem and keep aside
  3. mash the paneer and add chopped cashew ,green chilli,raisins, chilly powder , salt and mix it well
  4. now take each mushroom and fill the paneer mixture in a hollow portion and keep aside
  5. heat the oil in pan and put cumin seeds , cardamom and ginger garlic paste. Stir it and add onion paste green chilli , stir well now add chopped tomato chilli powder, coriander powder,salt garam masala stir well.
  6. now add mushrooms and some water , cover with lead and cook in low flame 8-10 minutes .and sprinkle pepper powder ‎ .
  7. Bharva mushroom is ready to be served.
  8. garnish with chopped coriander
