ABOUT Mix daal -less oily, less spicy RECIPE

Yummy, delicious and less spicy dal to be served with some roti of rice on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mix Dal 1 cup (Dal Tuvar dal chana dal masoor dal urad dal)
  2. Turmeric 1/2 spoon
  3. Water as required
  4. Salt to taste
  5. To make tadka:
  6. Oil 1 tsp
  7. Mustard seeds one spoon
  8. Cumin seeds one spoon
  9. Clove 1
  10. Bay leaf 1
  11. Curry leaves
  12. Green chilly 1 chopped
  13. Onion 1 chopped
  14. Tomato 1 chopped
  15. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  16. Red chilli powder 1/2 spoon
  17. Coriandet 1/2 tsp
  18. Garam masala 1/2 spoon
  19. Ginger paste 1 spoon
  20. Salt to taste
  21. Asafoetida 1 pinch
  22. Garlic 1/2 tsp
  23. Lemon juice 1 spoon

Instructions

  1. Mix dals. Soak it.
  2. In a pressure cooker put the soaked daal, add some turmeric powder,salt and Boil it.
  3. In a pan. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds.add pinch of asfoetida,dry red chilly,cloves, curry leaves, bay leaf and cook for a minutes.
  4. Add onion, ginger, garlic, chilly and all spices.
  5. Cook till the masala dissolved in it.
  6. Daal is ready.
