Nankhatai is a traditional Indian cookies.These cookies are very crunchy and soft.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. maida 1 cup
  2. Gram flour 1/2 cup
  3. semolina 3 tbsp
  4. salt 1/4 tsp
  5. cardamom powder 1 tsp
  6. Ghee or butter 1/2 cup
  7. Chopped pistachios to top


  1. In a bowl add maida, gram flour,semolina,sugar,salt and cardamom powder.Mix it well.
  2. Add ghee or butter and make a dough.
  3. Devide into 20 small portions.
  4. Shape all portions like round peda.
  5. Add pistachios on top.
  6. Place all in a baking tray.
  7. Preheat the usha halogen oven for 2mins at 200 degree.
  8. Add the baking tray in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 mins at 160 degree.
  9. Serve these cookies with tea.

Hi you did not mention sugar in ingredients hw much sugar should be there? &powder sugar or granules?
