Farali Masala Khichdi/ Masala Moriya

Ingredients to make Farali Masala Khichdi/ Masala Moriya

  • Moriya 2 cup
  • buttermilk 2 glass
  • water 3 cup
  • oil 2 tbs
  • jeera 1/2 tsp
  • Dry red chilli 2
  • star anise 1
  • hing 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Gree chilli chopped 2
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp

How to make Farali Masala Khichdi/ Masala Moriya

  1. TAKE ONE CUP MORIYA AND SOAK IN 3 CUP WATER FOR 10 MINUTE.
  2. HEAT 2 TBS OIL THEN ADD 1/2 TSP JEERA , STAR ANISE AND 2 DRY RED CHILLIES.
  3. ADD 1/4 TSP HING.
  4. ADD 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER.
  5. ADD 2 GLASS BUTTERMILK IN KADAI.
  6. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER AND 1 TSP SALT.
  7. THEN ADD SOAKED MORIYA WITHOUT WATER.
  8. ADD 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI.
  9. MIX WELL.
  10. NOW LID THE KADAI AND COOK ON MEDIUM FLAME FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTE.
  11. AFTER A 15 MINUTE MIX AGAIN MORIYA MIXTURE.
  12. NOW ADD 2 TBS CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES AND MIX AGAIN.
  13. COOK 5 MINUTE MORE THEN MASALA KHICHDI OR MASALA MORIYA IS READY.
