Gujarati kadhi

Ingredients to make Gujarati kadhi

  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 tsp chickpea flour
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 3 green chilly chopped
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 3 cupWater
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 dried red chilly
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 pinch asfoetida
  • curry leaves

How to make Gujarati kadhi

  1. Take yogurt in a pan.
  2. Add chickpea flour,ginger paste, chilly paste,turmeric powder, sugar and salt.
  3. Whisk it well.
  4. Then add water.Mix well.
  5. Put it on medium flame, stirring continuously.
  6. Heat the ghee another pan.,add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, dry red chilly, cloves,
  7. Add curry leaves and Asafoetida.
  8. Add this seasoning to the kadhi.stir well.

My Tip:

Serve with rice.
