Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Boiled moong daal 1 cup
  2. Coriander leaves
  3. Chopped Ginger 1.5 tbs
  4. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  6. Amchur powder 1.5 tsp
  7. Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
  8. Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
  9. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Fennel seeds Powder 1 tsp
  11. Heeng 1 tsp
  12. Maida 2 Cups
  13. Ajwain 1 tsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Oil 1/4 cup + frying

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS FLOUR, ADD 1 TSP SALT
  2. ADD 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS
  3. ADD 1/4 CUP OIL
  4. ADD SOME WATER, KNEAD A SOFT DOUGH
  5. APPLY SOME OIL, KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINS
  6. ADD 1 TSP ASAFOETIDA INTO 1 TSP HOT OIL
  7. ADD 1 CUP BOILED MOONG DAL
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC
  9. ADD 1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER
  10. STIR & COOK FOR 2 MINS
  11. TAKE OUT IN A MIXING BOWL
  12. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  13. ADD 1 TSP FENNEL POWDER
  14. ADD 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA
  15. ADD 1/2 TSP CHAT MASALA
  16. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN POWDER
  17. ADD 1.5 TSP DRY MANGO / AMCHUR POWDER
  18. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, MIX WELL
  19. ADD 1.5 TBSP CHOPPED GINGER
  20. ADD 1/4 CUP CORIANDER LEAVES, MIX
  21. TAKE A SMALL BALL OF DOUGH, FLATTEN IT
  22. FILL SOME DAAL MIX, CLOSE
  23. ROLL OUT INTO A THICK POORI
  24. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL ON MEDIUM HEAT
  25. FLIP CAREFULLY
  26. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
