Masala Chai

Ingredients to make Masala Chai

  • Milk 1 cup
  • water 1 cup
  • sugar 3 tbs
  • chai patti 1 tbs
  • Green cardamom 3
  • cinnamon sticks 2
  • Black pepper 5-6
  • cloves 4-5
  • Dry ginger Powder 1 tsp

How to make Masala Chai

  1. ADD WATER - 1 CUP
  2. NOW ADD SUGAR -3 TBS OR TO TASTE
  3. NOW ADD IN 4-5CLOVES,5-6 BLACK PEPPER,3 GREEN CARDAMOM,2 CINNAMON STICKS, IN A PESTLE AND MORTAR.
  4. CRUSH ALL THE SPICES
  5. ADD CRUSHED SPICES
  6. ADD DRY GINGER POWDER - 1 TSP
  7. ADD 1 TBSP OF THE TEA LEAVES [CHAI PATTI]
  8. LET IT BOIL FOR 1-2 MINUTES,KEEP STIRRING
  9. ADD MILK - 1CUP
  10. STIR CONTINUE FOR GOOD FLAVOR
  11. BOIL FOR 4-5 MINUTES
  12. STRAIN WITH A STRAINER AND POUR INTO CUPS.
