Ingredients to make raw papaya halwa

  • one whole small size raw papaya
  • 250 gram khoya
  • 1 cup sugar
  • pinch of cardamom powder
  • 5-6 Tbls ghee
  • 7-8 almond for garnishing
  • 2 cup water for boiling papaya

How to make raw papaya halwa

  1. Cut the raw papaya( kacha papita) into small cubes and boil ( ubaale)with 2 cup of water in pressure cooker...till 3 whistle
  2. once cool...squeeze excess of water(paani nichodle) from boiled raw papaya
  3. Heat the pan and add ghee,Add the squeezed raw papaya and cook at medium flame till it seems there is no water
  4. Add khoya and sugar and cardamom powder(elaichi) and cook it till light brown and it leavens ghee
  5. garnish with almonds
