Veggie Burger

Ingredients to make Veggie Burger

  • 3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup lukewarm milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp Active Dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 diced potato
  • 1/2 cup chopped beans
  • 1/2 Cup Green peas
  • 1/2 cup diced carrot
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chilli Powder
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 Sliced tomato
  • 1 sliced onion
  • Lettuce or coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

How to make Veggie Burger

  1. Take 1 cup lukewarm milk, 1 tbsp sugar and 2 tsp dry yeast in a bowl. Leave it for 15 minutes and it becomes frothy.
  2. In a big bowl take all purpose flour and add salt.
  3. Add 1 and half tbsp olive oil in proofed yeast.
  4. Add proofed yeast and oil mix in All purpose flour.
  5. Knead a soft dough and leave it for 1 hour.
  6. Make big size balls from dough and place on greased baking tray for 1 hour. After 1 hour it becomes double in size. Sprinkle some sesame seeds over balls. Mix some butter in milk and brush it on dough balls.
  7. Pre heat Otg and bake buns on 200 degree for 15 minutes. After baking buns immediately brush butter on top of buns.
  8. Steam diced potato, peas, carrot and chopped beans. Let it cool and mash. Add garam masala, chilli powder and salt. Add chickpea powder or rice flour. Make tikkis and fry on nonstick tava.
  9. Cut buns from middle and toast on tava.
  10. Apply Tomato sauce on toasted buns.
  11. Keep veg cutlets/tikkis on bun.
  12. Take Mayonnaise in a bowl.
  13. Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, chaat masala and olive oil.
  14. Apply Mayonnaise on cutlets and then keep sliced tomatoes, onions and luttuce on it. Place remaining part of bun on it.
  15. Enjoy yummy Veggie burger.

My Tip:

After baking buns immidietly apply butter on it.
