South Indian Dhokla

Ingredients to make South Indian Dhokla

  • Idli batter - 2 cups [ready made or homemade ]
  • salt - to taste
  • oil - 2 tsp

How to make South Indian Dhokla

  1. Take idli batter and Transfer to a flat bottom pot that has been lightly greased with some oil, and can fit inside a pressure cooker.
  2. Cook in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes, on high heat, without keeping the whistle. Remember to start the timer only after a steady jet of steam starts coming out of the pressure cooker.
  3. After 20 minutes, turn off the heat, wait for a few minutes, and then open the lid.
  4. Remove the dhokla and allow to cool completely.
  5. Delicious 'dhokla' from 'idli' batter is ready to serve.
  6. Serve with peanut Chutney or coconut Chutney.

Hello Team, I have tried to separate steps but it is not displaying on the screen. If you observed, now I have put numbers for each and every step, once updated the numbers I have clicked on save recipe button but still, it is not displaying step by step.
