Ingredients to make Urad daal kachori

  • For stuffing
  • Split black gram 1 cup
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Asefotidia 1 pinch
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Coriender powder 1 tsp
  • amchur powder 1tsp
  • Aniseed powder 1tsp
  • For outer layer
  • All perpose flour 1 cup
  • oil 4tbsp
  • salt 1/2tsp
  • water as required
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Urad daal kachori

  1. TAKE 1 CUP SPLIT BLACK GRAM AND GRIND IT.
  2. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 PINCH ASEFOTIDIA,1/2TSP TURMERIC POWDER,1TSP RED CHILLI POWDER,1TSP CORIENDER POWDER.
  3. ADD GRINDED BLACK GRAM AND COOK TILL IT START CHANGING IT'S COLOUR.
  4. ADD 1TBSP AMCHOOR POWDER 1TBSP ANISEED POWDER AND SWITCH OFF THE FLAME.
  5. LET IT COOL DOWN.
  6. IN 1 CUP ALL PERPOSE FLOUR ADD 4 TBSP OIL, SALT AND KNEAD WELL.
  7. TAKE A LEMON SIZE DOUGH ROLL A LITTLE BIT PUT 1 TBSP STUFFING AND MAKE A BALL AGAIN.
  8. ROLL IT AGAIN WITH THE ROLLING PIN LIGHTLY.
  9. DEEP FRY THE CHAORI IN PRE-HEATED OIL ON A LOW FLAME
  10. FLIP IT AND FRY ON MEDIUM FLAME.
