ABOUT curd chilli chicken curry RECIPE

This is a very easy and tasty dish made with chicken, curd and chillies that can be served with some rice or roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. chicken 500
  2. onion chopped 2
  3. garlic 4 cloves
  4. ginger 1 inch
  5. curd 3/4 cup
  6. turmeric powder 1tsp
  7. salt to taste
  8. cumin powder 1 tsp
  9. cumin seeds
  10. green cardamom 1
  11. cloves 1
  12. cinnamon 1 inch
  13. mustered oil 1 cup
  14. fresh coriander
  15. black pepper 1tsp
  16. green chilli paste 1 tsp
  17. red chilli powder.

Instructions

  1. At first marinate chicken with turmeric powder and 1 tbsp
  2. Take a heated pan and add 2 tbsp. Add cinnamon stick,green cardamom,cloves, cumin seeds in hot oil.
  3. Now add chopped onion. Fry it till transparent. Add ginger,garlic paste 1/2 cup curd green chilli paste and red chilli powder
  4. when oil separates from spices,add marinate chicken and fry it for 5 minute on high flame. Then lower the flame and cover it , cook.
  5. After some time when chicken is getting softer , add salt and turmeric if needed.
  6. Now add curd and crushed black pepper and cover it for few minutes.
  7. Add fresh coriander and . Give it standing time. Serve it.
