Ingredients to make Crispy Masala Dosa

  • For Dosa
  • Dosa batter
  • oil
  • FOR masala
  • potato 500 gms
  • Sesame oil 2 tbsp
  • mustard
  • Channa dal 1 tsp
  • cashews
  • 2 sliced onion
  • ginger 1 inch finely chopped
  • 4 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • hing pinch
  • salt

How to make Crispy Masala Dosa

  1. PRESSURE COOK 500 GMS POTATOES WITH SALT FOR 3 WHISTLES. MASH THEM. SET ASIDE
  2. ADD 2 TBSP OIL IN KADAI. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW THEM TO CRACK
  3. ADD 1 TSP CHANNA DAL AND CASHEWS. SAUTE
  4. ADD 2 SLICED ONION, 4 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES AND GINGER
  5. SAUTE TILL ONION TURN TRANSLUCENT
  6. ADD 1/4 CUP GREEN PEAS. SAUTE
  7. ADD CURRY LEAVES. SAUTE
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER AND PINCH OF HING
  9. ADD REQUIRED SALT AS PER TASTE
  10. ADD MASHED POTATOES. MIX
  11. MIX WELL
  12. ADD FINELY CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES. COOK FOR 10 MINUTES
  13. COOK TILL MASALA THICKENS. TURN OFF FLAME. SET ASIDE
  14. SPREAD DOSA IN TAWA. ADD OIL
  15. FLIP ON BOTH SIDES
  16. COOK ON BOTH SIDES
  17. ADD POTATO MASALA
  18. SERVE HOT
