Fried mint leaves chutney is so tasty and good for health. It is very good accompany with Rotti, chapathi, dosa, idli and so on.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mint leaves chopped 1 cup
  2. Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  3. Sour buttermilk 1/4 cup
  4. Water 5 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Green chilli 1
  7. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder 1/8 tsp
  9. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  10. Ghee 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. WASH CLEANLY AND CHOP MINT LEAVES
  2. HEAT GHEE
  3. ADD MINT LEAVES AND FRY TILL TENDER
  4. ADD COCONUT AND FRY FOR 3 MINUTES IN LOW FLAME
  5. ADD TURMERIC POWDER, GREEN CHILLI, CUMIN SEEDS MIX AND SWITCH OFF THE FLAME
  6. TRANSFER INTO MIXIE JAR
  7. ADD SALT AND WATER, GRIND SMOOTHLY
  8. TRANSFER INTO A BOWL
  9. ADD SOUR BUTTERMILK
  10. HEAT OIL, ADD MUSTARD SEEDS AND LET IT CRACKLE
  11. ADD SEASONING AND SERVE.
