ABOUT Homemade Pineapple Jam RECIPE

Fresh homemade jam tastes great,but it tastes more if there is no preservatives.This delicoius jam is perfect for spreading on toast,pan cakes,tarts.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Pineapple chopped 800 gm
  2. Sugar 1 1/4 cup
  3. Lemon juice 1/4 Tsp
  4. Nutmeg powder 1/4 Tsp

Instructions

  1. CHOP 800 GMS PINEAPPLE INTO SMALL CHUNKS, ADD TO A GRINDER
  2. BLEND INTO A SMOOTH PUREE
  3. ADD PINEAPPLE PUREE INTO A PREHEATED PAN
  4. ADD 1-1/4 CUP SUGAR, MIX & SIMMER ON MEDIUM HEAT
  5. STIR CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL THE SUGAR DISSOLVES
  6. THE MIXTURE WILL START FOAMING LIKE THIS
  7. STIR & COOK TILL THICK
  8. ADD 1/4 TSP EACH OF LEMON JUICE & NUTMEG POWDER, COOK FOR 2-3 MINS
  9. REMOVE FROM HEAT, ALLOW IT TO COOL
