Ingredients to make Masala dosa.

  • dosa batter with rice & urud dal 3 cups
  • Boiled potato 2
  • onion chopped 3
  • green chillies 3
  • ginger a small piece
  • curry leaves a few
  • coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  • turmeric powder 2 pinch
  • salt
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  • red chilli 1
  • curry leaves a few
  • coriander leaves a few.

How to make Masala dosa.

  1. heat a pan with oil. put mustard & red chilli & curry leaves. fry.
  2. then add chopped onion , green chillies & ginger. fry till done.
  3. add mashed potatoes along with some turmeric & salt.
  4. add some water about 1/4 cup. cook till all water is gone & the masala is in a semi thick form .
  5. make dosa as big as possible . cook both sides till crispy.
  6. put some masala in the middle & fold it.
  7. serve hot with coconut chutney .

My Tip:

make masala in a semi thick form. i hope everyone knows about making usual rice dosa. so i wrote dosa batter.
