Ingredients to make sooji kheer

  • 300 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp roasted sooji
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • few strands saffron
  • almonds, for garnish

How to make sooji kheer

  1. In a pan add the milk and let it come to boil.
  2. Add saffron strands and roasted sooji to it..
  3. Mix well and let it simmer on low flame till the milk gets thick.
  4. Add sugar and stir well till it dissolves.
  5. Switch off the gas and serve hot with chopped almonds.
