This is a quick recipe of pakoda of besan, made like appam, with the usage of very little oil. So guilt free snacks for the evening tea.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Gram flour or besan 1bowl
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Turmaric powder
  4. Red chilli powder
  5. Chopped spinach
  6. Water
  7. Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare a semithick paste by mixing all ingredients in a bowl
  2. Grease appam pan with little oil
  3. Heat the pan
  4. Add besan pakoda mix in each roundle
  5. Cover pan with a lid and cook for 5min
  6. Now remove the lid and check
  7. Turn the Pakodas to cook another side
  8. Cook for another 5 min, applying a little bit oil on the other side
  9. Less oil or fry free Pakodas are ready to be devoured.
  10. Make kadhi pakoda or pakoda gravy with them
