Lemon Chilli Lollipop

Ingredients to make Lemon Chilli Lollipop

  • 10 chicken Lollipops
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 10 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp, chopped ginger
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep fry and 2 tbsp for stir fry
  • 1 Large onions, chopped
  • 1 Bunch coriander, chopped
  • 1 Bunch Gralic leaves, chopped
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 2 tbsp green chilli paste
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • Red/Yellow/Green capsicum for garnishing
  • 100 gms hung curd
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

How to make Lemon Chilli Lollipop

  1. Marinate the lollipops with ginger garlic paste, salt, yogurt, 1 tbsp chilli paste, 1 tbsp lime juice. Keep it for at least 1 hour.
  2. Make a thick batter with egg, cornflour, all purpose flour, salt, pepper powder and a little water. Coat all the lollipops by dipping into it.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the lollipops.
  4. Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a wok. Saute garlic, ginger and onions for 2 minutes. Add coriander leaves and garlic leaves. Add green chilli paste and toss. Add sugar and a little water.
  5. Add in the lollipops and toss well, add 1 tbsp of lime juice.
  6. Garnish with capsicum and serve.

My Tip:

Try to toss on a high flame.
