ABOUT Brownie indulgence RECIPE

A crusty top with a fudgy centered brownie is my absolute comfort food. Its a go to food for me always when i am feeling low or happy or excited or actually in any mood. The ooey gooey sticky centre when you bite into it is just delicious. The smell it brings into your kitchen while baking is absolutely mesmerising and satisfying as the brownie itself. An easy and yummy dish for everyone.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. butter - 90g
  2. Semisweet chocolate - 170g
  3. sugar - 1 cup
  4. Cocoa powder - 1/4 Cup
  5. eggs - 2
  6. Vanilla essence - 2 teaspoon
  7. flour - 3/4 cup
  8. Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  9. salt - 1/4 teaspoon


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Place a bowl with semisweet chocolate, butter and cocoa powder over a pan of boiling water.
  3. Stir continuously untill completely melted.
  4. Whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla essence in another bowl.
  5. Mix flour, salt and baking powder in another bowl.
  6. Add the chocolate mix into eggs and mix well.
  7. Add the flour mix to it.
  8. Grease the bottom of pan with butter and place butter paper on it.
  9. Pour the batter into the pan and place in oven for 30 min or top becomes less sticky to touch.
  10. Remove and allow to cool in pan.
  11. Cut into squares and can be served with ice cream or chocolate sauce.
