Ingredients to make Achari Gobhi...

  • cauliflower florets 2 cups
  • salt 1 tsp
  • ginger mince 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • fenugreek powder 1/4th tsp
  • Black mustard seeds powder 1/4th tsp
  • Black mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • curry leaves 1/4th cup
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • onions finely chopped 1/2 cup
  • tomato pulp 1/4th cup

How to make Achari Gobhi...

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add curry leaves and mustard seeds.
  3. Let them crackle a bit before adding finely chopped onions.
  4. Saute these until translucent.
  5. Now add a tablespoon of freshly squeezed tomato pulp.
  6. After a minute or two, add the cauliflower florets and the achari spices.
  7. Cover and cook until well coated with the spices.
  8. Serve hot with rotis or phulkas.
