Ingredients to make patal do peaja

  • rosewater &kewra water optional
  • garam masala powder
  • whole garam masala(4 cardamom,2 small cinimun stick,2 bayleaf,4 long)
  • finely beated hung curd 2 tablespoon
  • ghee
  • sunflower oil
  • water
  • fried potato 8 cubes.(cut a potato in 4 pices)
  • ginger paste 1 tablespoon
  • garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  • ring of onion/onion ring(1 onion)
  • suger salt as taste
  • redchilli powder 1 tablespoom
  • fried potol(pointed gourd) 8 pic.
  • tomato cubed in small pices(1 tomato)
  • beresta/golden brown crispy fried onion

How to make patal do peaja

  1. Heat oil add whole garam masala
  2. Then add ring onions Cook for 1 min in high flame
  3. Add ginger garlic paste
  4. Add cumin powder,redchilli powder,turmaric powder cook well
  5. Add potatos mix well and cover it and cook in low flame
  6. Then add potol(pointed ground),add cashew paste,salt,suger,hung curd mix well
  7. Medium flame Cover it mix it and cook it well
  8. Speed the golden brown crispy fried onions and ghee and garam masala powder over the recipe and cover it
  9. Then if you want spread some rosewater and kewra water and cover it
