Ingredients to make Poha Cutlets

  • Flatten rice. 1/2 cup.
  • Boiled potato. 1 medium size
  • Carrot, capsicum,peas. 1/2cup
  • onion minced. 4 tbs
  • Fried onion. 2 tbs
  • Green chilli shredded. 1 tsp
  • ginger, garlic paste. 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder. 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder. 1 tsp
  • rice flour. 2 tbs
  • salt. 1 tsp
  • Mastard oil 1/2 tbs
  • peanut. 1 tbs
  • Bread crumbs. 3 tbs
  • oil for frying.

How to make Poha Cutlets

  1. SOAK 1/2 CUP POHA IN SOME WATER FOR 2-3 MINS
  2. WASH, DRAIN, STRAIN & LET IT REST FOR 5 MINS
  3. MASH WELL
  4. ADD 1 BOILED POTATO, MASH IT
  5. ADD 2 TBSP RICE FLOUR, 3 TBSP BREADCRUMBS
  6. ADD 1/2 CUP EACH OF SHREDDED CARROT, CABBAGE & PEAS
  7. ADD 4 TBSP CHOPPED ONIONS, 2 TBSP FRIED ONIONS
  8. ADD 1 TSP SHREDDED GREEN CHILLIES
  9. ADD SALT
  10. ADD 1/4 CUP OATS, 1/2 TSP GINGER-GARLIC PASTE
  11. ADD 1/4 CUP CORIANDER LEAVES
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP ROASTED CUMIN POWDER
  13. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  14. ADD 1/2 TBSP MUSTARD OIL
  15. ADD 1 TBSP PEANUTS
  16. MIX INTO A SMOOTH DOUGH
  17. SHAPE INTO CUTLETS, ROLL OVER BREADCRUMBS
  18. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  19. REMOVE FROM HEAT WHEN THEY TURN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
