ABOUT Dal louki RECIPE

Believe me it tastes sooo good, a delicious dal made with bottle gourd. A perfect dish to be served with roti or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 kg lauki diced
  2. 2 tablespoon moong dal
  3. Big tomato
  4. chilli ginger garlic paste
  5. Salt and spices
  6. 1teaspoon jeera seeds
  7. coriander leaves for garnishing
  8. Pinch dry mango powder
  9. Pinch garam masala
  10. 1cup water

Instructions

  1. In a pan add some oil add jeera then tomato chopped then add ginger garlic paste stir well
  2. Add Lauki ,dal and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame stir continously
  3. Add all the spices then put some water and cook for 15 minutes to 20 minutes on slow flame I use pressure cooker 3 to 4 whistles will be enough
  4. When Dal is tender enough then it's ready to serve. garnish with coriander leaves and Sprinkle pinch Garam Masala and dry mango powder
