Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cabbage chopped - 500mg (boiled)
  2. Chana dal - 1/2 cup (boiled)
  3. Ginger garlic - 1 tbsp paste
  4. Onion - 1 medium size chopped
  5. Green chilies - 2
  6. Tomato - 1 (medium size) chopped
  7. Curry leaves - 10
  8. Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
  9. Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  11. Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
  12. Coriander chopped - 1 tbsp
  13. Oil - 4 tbsp
  14. water as required
  15. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves fry 2 mins.
  2. Add chopped onions and green chilies, once onions turns in to soft and brown colour then add ginger garlic paste,fry 3 mins.
  3. Add chopped tomato and turmeric powder.
  4. Add the boiled chana dal,boiled cabbage and water. Cover and cook it.
  5. Add salt and red chili powder.
  6. Mix well. Cover and cook till cabbage is cooked.
  7. Add the chopped coriander.
  8. Mix well and saute for a minute. The cabbage chana dal sabzi is done.Garnish it with chopped coriander and serve .
