Ingredients to make Paneer Butter Masala

  • paneer 250 gm
  • onion in slices 1 Medium
  • ginger 1 small piece
  • tomatoes 2
  • garlic cloves 4-5
  • cashew 1/4 cup
  • butter 1/2 cup
  • oil 1 tsp
  • water as required
  • Bayleaf 2
  • cinnamon sticks 2
  • Black, green cardamom 2-2
  • cloves 4-5
  • cream 1/3 cup
  • sugar 2 tsp
  • coriander leaves
  • Kashmiri red chsalt to tasteilli powder 2 tap
  • Green chilli 2-3
  • Chopped ginger 1 tsp

How to make Paneer Butter Masala

  1. 1/2 GLASS WATER/PAANI
  2. 2 ROUGHLY CHOPPED TOMATOES/TAMAATAR
  3. 1 ONION IN SLICES/PYAAZ
  4. 8-10 GARLIC CLOVES/LAHSUN
  5. 1 SMALL PIECE OF GINGER/ADRAK
  6. 1 TSP KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER
  7. 2 BAYLEAF,2-2BLACK-GREEN CARDAMOM,2 CINNAMON STICKS,4-5 CLOVES
  8. GIVE A STIR
  9. 1/4 CUP CASHEW/KAAJU
  10. 2-3 TBS BUTTER/MAKKHAN
  11. COVER & COOK FOR 20-25 MINUTES (LOW HEAT)
  12. TRANSFER INTO A BLENDER
  13. MAKE A SMOOTH PASTE
  14. STRAIN WITH STRAINER
  15. CURRY PASTE IS READY
  16. 3-4 TBS BUTTER/MAKKHAN
  17. 1 TSP OLIVE OIL
  18. 2-3 GREEN CHILLIES,1 TSP CHOPPED GINGER
  19. SAUTE FOR 1 MINUTE
  20. KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TSP
  21. GIVE A STIR
  22. ADD CURRY PASTE
  23. STIR CONTINUE FOR 2 MINUTES
  24. ADD 1/3 CUP WATER (OR ACCORDING TO YOUR CONSISTENCY)
  25. SALT TO TASTE/NAMAK
  26. 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA
  27. ADD 2 TSP SUGAR (OPTIONAL) & SIMMER FOR 2 MINUTES
  28. ADD PANEER CUBES (250 GM)
  29. COVER & COOK FOR 3-4 MINUTES (LOW HEAT)
  30. FENUGREEK LEAVES 1-2 TBS
  31. MIX WELL
  32. TAKE OFF THE GAS & ADD CREAM (1/3 CUP)
  33. MIX PROPERLY
  34. ADD FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES
