  • 4 Medium potatoes
  • 4. Tblspn oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tspn turmeric powder
  • 1 tspn mustard seeds/rai
  • 1 tspn cummin corriander powder
  • 1tspn red chilli powder
  • Some curry leaves
  • Some fresh corriander

How to make Stir Fry Kachri Potatoes

  1. PEEL 4 MEDIUM POTATOES,KEEP IN WATER,KEEP HANDY DRY SPICES AND 4 TBLSPN OIL TOO
  2. SLICE THE POTATOES ROUND AND NOT VERY THICK
  3. KEEP A PAN, ADD 4 TBLSPN OIL AND MUSTARD SEEDS FOLLOWED BY CURRY LEAVES
  4. NOW ADD 1 TSPN TURMERIC IMMEDIATELY ADD THE SLICED POTATOES SO TURMERIC DOES NOT BURN IN HOT OIL
  5. STIR FRY POTATOES LIGHTLY FOR 2 MINUTES
  6. ADD 1TSPN CUMMIN CORRIANDER POWDER,1 TSPN RED CHILLI POWDER,,SALT TO TASTE
  7. NOW ADD 3/4BOWL OF WATER TO THE POTATOES
  8. PUT COVER ON THE COOKING POTATOES FOR 6-7 MINUTES
  9. OPEN COVER USE RICE SPOON TO HANDLE POTATOES TO AVOID BREAKING ,CHECK LIGHTLY IF DONE
  10. THE POTATOES ARE DONE ,FRY ROAST ON FAST FLAME 1 MINUTE.REMOVE IN A DEEP PLATE TO SERVE
