Ingredients to make Chilli potato

  • potato 2 medium sized.
  • cornflour 2 tbsp.
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp.
  • Refined oil 1 cup.
  • Chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup.
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp.
  • onion 1 sliced.
  • salt as per taste.
  • capsicum 1/2 cup.
  • Chopped green chilli 1 tbsp.
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp.
  • vinegar 1 tbsp.
  • Spring onion 1/2 cup

How to make Chilli potato

  1. Peel the potatoes & cut them diagonally.
  2. Fry the potatoes & keep aside.
  3. Fry garlic & chillies in a pan.
  4. Add onions & capsicum & saute for a while.
  5. Add soya sauce, vinegar & red chilli powder accordingly.
  6. Now add the fried potatoes in it.
  7. Add 3 tbsp water & cook in a low flame for 2 minutes.
  8. Mix 2 tbsp cornflour with 1 cup of water for thick gravy.
  9. Turn off the heat.
  10. Sprinkle green spring onion for garnishing.
  11. Serve as a starter.
