ABOUT Gobhi 65 RECIPE

It is south indian snack, served along with meal or as a starter. It is really a new avtar of gobhi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cauliflower 20 florets (chopped)
  2. Flour 3 tablespoon
  3. Cornflour 2 tablespoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Red chili powder 1 tablespoon
  6. ginger chopped 1 teaspoon
  7. Curry leaves 15
  8. Cumin seeds powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Coriander seeds powder 1 teaspoon
  10. dry mango powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Garam Masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Curd 4 tablespoon
  13. Oil for frying
  14. Water for making batter

Instructions

  1. Blanch the cauliflower florets.
  2. In a bowl mix flour, cornflour, red chili powder, salt, ginger, garlic, dry mango powder, cumin and coriander powder. Add chopped curry leaves. Add water and make a batter. Add florets to it .
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry these florets till crispy .
  4. Now in another pan heat oil and add cumin seeds, slitted green chillies, curry leaves. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and whisked curd. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add fry cauliflower to it and mix well. Garnish with onion rings. Your crispy gobhi 65 is ready to serve.
