ABOUT Nan Khatai RECIPE

Nan khatai is an Indian version of eggless cookies which made with combination of plain flour, gram flour and semolina.

Ingredients Serving: 15

  1. 1 Cup APF/ Maida
  2. 1 Cup Melted Ghee/ Clarifying Butter
  3. 1/3 Cup Semolina
  4. 1/2 Cup Gram Flour
  5. 1 Tsp. Baking Powder
  6. 1 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
  7. 1 Cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes on 200 degree Celsius in baking mode.
  2. Sieve the maida, gram flour, semolina and baking powder together twice times.
  3. Mix powdered sugar and cardamom powder with flour.
  4. Add melted ghee and make smooth dough. Divide the dough into equal portions and give them round flatten shape.
  5. Remove the tray with carefully and keep aside to cool at room temp.
  6. Serve fresh Nan khatai with tea or coffee.
  7. You can store the Nan khatai in airtight jar for one month.
