Ingredients to make Puchkizza

  • Puris 10 nos.
  • For the Filling: Cheese Sauce / Cheese spread 1/2 cup
  • tomato Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Grated cottage cheese 1/4 cup
  • capsicum chopped 1/2 no
  • Sweetcorn kernels 1/4 cup
  • onion chopped 1/2 no
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Black pepper pwd As per taste
  • chilli flakes as per taste
  • salt to taste
  • Grated Cheese for topping 1/2 cup

How to make Puchkizza

  1. Prepare a mixture of all ingredients mentioned for the filling. Make sure it tastes a bit tangy and saucy. Adjust consistency accordingly by adding the sauces. Pre heat the oven. Make an opening at the top of the puris.
  2. Make an opening at the top of the puris. Place them in the baking tray. Using a spoon fill the puris with the prepared mixture. Make sure you put a generous amount of mixture to get a perfect taste.
  3. Grate some cheese on top of the puris if you wish to make it more cheesy
  4. Bake for 10 minutes or till the cheese on top melts
  5. Ready to serve

My Tip:

Any filling of your choice can be added. Boiled & shredded chicken/ chopped salami/ baby corn/ mushrooms etc. This is a shortcut to prepare this, I also like making an authentic pizza sauce for the filling
