Chicken onion pakoda/chicken fitters is spicy and yummy starter and is great for get-together's. It is crispy and deep fried snack with chicken and sliced onions. In ramadan time we must do it for a while.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken- thinly sliced- 1 cup
  2. Onion thinly sliced-2 cup
  3. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  4. chilly finely chopped- 2
  5. Gram Flour- 1 cup
  6. Rice flour- 1/3 cup
  7. Chilly powder- 1 tsp
  8. Garam Masala- 1/2 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder- 1/3 tsp
  10. Chicken kebab powder-2 spn
  11. Chopped coriander
  12. Curry leaves - a few
  13. salt to taste
  14. lemon juice- 1 tsp
  15. Oil for deep frying- 1 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into thin long peices. Marinate with turmeric powder, chopped green chilly,ginger garlic paste salt and lemon juice and keep aside for about an hour.
  2. Into this add sliced onion and the rest of the ingredients except oil and mix well.
  3. Do not add water,try to keep it thick. Sprinkle a few drops of water if you feel that flour, chicken and onion is not coming together.
  4. Drop spoon fulls in hot oil and fry in medium heat till crispy and golden brown.
