Roti Potli

Ingredients to make Roti Potli

  • 2 tsp oil
  • pinch of asafoetida,
  • 1/2 Tsp cumin seeds,
  • 1/2 Tsp chilly powder
  • 3/4 Tsp chat masala,
  • 1/2 Tsp garam masala,
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder,
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas,
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

How to make Roti Potli

  1. HEAT 2 TSP OIL
  2. ADD 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA, 1/2 TSP EACH OF CUMIN & RED CHILLI POWDER
  3. ADD 3/4 TSP CHAT MASALA, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA, 1 TBSP CORIANDER POWDER
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC, SALT TO TASTE, MIX
  5. ADD 1 CUP BOILED POTATOES, 1/2 CUP BOILED PEAS, 2 TBSP CORIANDER LEAVES
  6. ADD1 TSP LEMON JUICE, MIX WELL, TAKE OFF HEAT
  7. LET IT COOL
  8. TAKE A ROTI, ADD 2 TBSP STUFFING
  9. PLEAT & JOIN THE ENDS TOGETHER LIKE THIS
  10. INSERT A TOOTHPICK TO HOLD IT IN PLACE
  11. MELT 1 TBSP BUTTER, SHALLOW FRY THE POTLIS
  12. TAKE OFF HEAT WHEN THEY TURN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
